- Lot Description
George Ayers Cress (American/Tennessee, 1921-2008) sketchbook containing three (3) drawings and thirty-four (34) looseleaf works on paper, rendered in charcoal, ink, watercolor, collage. All depict an assortment of landscapes, figures. plants, and abstracts. Some sketches notated. All with museum accession numbers in pencil en verso. All ranging in size from 6" H x 9" W to 12" H x 18" W.
Condition
Overall good condition with light wear to covers. Light toning, foxing to some pieces. Scattered minor creases or tears to some edges. Partial loss to spiral binding on sketchbook.
