- Lot Description
Giant Brand pencil, gouache, and watercolor on paper laid to cardstock California crate label advertisement painting. The upper body of a man rendered in blue and gold hues carries a nearly-bursting crate filled with lettuce. The crate bears the label itself. Text in red, blue, and gold above reads "GIANT BRAND / Strong in Quality." With Western Lithograph Co., Los Angeles, label affixed to verso. Circa 1930s-1940s. 9 in H x 7 in W.
Condition
Overall very good condition, with crease to upper-right corner in border and accretion to area above man's left shoulder, 5/8 in x 1 in.
