New York: Cassell Publishing Company, 1892. 8vo, 417 pp. First American Edition, gilt illustrated camel caravan on cover, gilt spine, numerous engraved plates and illustrations, folded map in pocket inside front cover.
2nd Item: THE SILK ROAD by Sven Hedin, Translated from the Swedish by F. H. Lyon. New York: E.P. Dutton & Co., 1938. First Edition, with folded map inside cover.
3rd Item: THROUGH DESERTS AND OASES OF CENTRAL ASIA by Ella and Percy Sykes. London: Macmillan and Co., 1920. First Edition. 8vo, 340pp. Authored by Brigadier General Sir Percy Sykes and his sister Ella. Folded map in pocket inside rear cover intact. Many illustrations from photographs throughout. The first part by Ella concerns their travels through Chinese Turkestan and crossing the Tien Shan mountains. The second portion, written by Sir Percy, deals with the geography, history, and ethnography of the peoples of Kashgar and the Pamirs.

6th Item: EAST OF THE SUN AND WEST OF THE MOON by Theodore Roosevelt and Kermit Roosevelt, New York: Charles Scribner's Sons 1926. First Edition. 284pp. Authored by two of Theodore Roosevelt's sons, Theodore Jr. (1887-1944) and Kermit (1889-1943) regarding hunting in the Himalayas.
