- Lot Description
Harold Kraus (Tennessee, b. 1940s) oil on board painting entitled "Maria #2" and depicting a woman in a hat and white dress seated in a rowboat that floats atop a sunlit body of water, 1988. The woman holds an oar in her left hand and with her right reaches down to touch the water, which reflects her image. Signed "Kraus," lower right, and additionally signed, titled, and dated en verso. Housed in a distressed white and gilt wood frame with cream fabric fillet and brass title plate. Board: 24" H x 18" W. Frame: 26" H x 32" W.
