- Lot Description
Hodgson, Kennard & Company sterling silver presentation box. Engraved presentation reading "G. A. D. / 1867 Sept. 12 1917", likely a retirement gift. The exterior with engraved signatures, presumably from fellow employees and the interior base fitted with a wood liner. Underside stamped "Hodgson, Kennard & Co." and "Sterling". 2 1/2 in. H x 8 1/2 in. W x 6 1/4 in. D. 1st. Qtr. 20th century. 29.750 gross troy ounces (includes interior lining).
Condition
Box in overall good condition with light surface wear and scratching. Interior wood lining with buckling. Some scattered shallow denting to edges.
