- Lot Description
Jacob George Strutt (England, 1790-1864) etching depicting the Cowthorpe Oak Tree in England. Signed "J. G. Strutt 1824" and titled in plate to lower margin. Albert Antiques, New Orleans label or letter en verso with artist attribution and location information. Housed under glass in a mottled mat and gilt frame. Plate: 12 1/4" H x 14 3/4" W. Framed: 18 1/2" H x 20 3/4" W.
