James McBey (Scottish, 1883-1959), "Portrait of Katie with Crayons," oil on canvasboard portrait of a child resting her head on her arms atop a coloring book on a table, in an interior setting. Signed "James McBey / Tangier / July, 1956" lower left. Housed in an ivory-painted wood frame. Sight: 15 1/2"H x 21 1/2" W. Frame: 23 1/3"H x 29 1/3"W.
Condition
Light surface grime and faint staining. Frame with significant losses to paint.
