- Lot Description
PROFILES IN COURAGE, John F. Kennedy, New York Harper & Brothers, 1956. Hardcover in dust jacket, inscribed "John Kennedy" on title page. A cache of related material and provenance material laid in, including a letter from Mary Benjamin of Walter R. Benjamin Autographs in New York to Ben Caldwell dated 23 April 1971. Previous owner name (Sarah E. Cowan 1956 NYC) in ink and the Caldwell book plate are on the front pastedown. 1956 newspaper clippings laid in (front free endpaper). 8 3/4 in. H x 6 in. W x 1 1/2 in. D.
Condition
The book is in good condition with overall wear to and slight damage to the boards. The jacket is some rubbed and has edge wear at extremities and some slight soiling. Previous owner name in ink and book plate on front pastedown.
