- Lot Description
Jules James Rougeron (France, 1841-1880) oil on board painting of a woman attired in a veil and brown dress standing in the rain and holding an umbrella. Set in a landscape with pathways and trees resembling a park. Signed "J. Rougeron" lower left. Housed in a gilt wood frame with scrolling and foliate decoration. Sight: 9 1/2" H x 6 1/2" W. Framed: 18" H x 14 3/4" W.
Condition
A couple slight areas of retouching in upper left corner, largest measuring 1" L, visible under UV light inspection. Frame with light wear and losses to corners.
