- Lot Description
Large Chinese Famille Rose lidded porcelain jar, baluster form, the body with polychrome figural landscape decoration depicting a scholar on a pine tree raft holding a red covering together with two young boys holding a peach above their heads, with three young females holding ribbons and cranes and bats overhead. Jui head border below the rim and lappet border to the base. 16" H. Late 19th century.
Condition
Neck on body with chipping and losses. The lid rim and finial edge with scattered wear and losses.
