- Lot Description
Mahogany Hepplewhite period dining chair. Carved oval back with matching conforming back splat, attached to seat rails with a serpentine front skirt, upholstered in stripped mustard yellow and light blue upholstery, straight legs with H-style stretcher. 37 1/2" H x 19.5" W x 19" D. Probably English or American, circa 1800.
Condition
Overall fair to good condition. Wear and condition commensurate with age and use including repairs to joints, separations, evidence of wormholes, scattered repairs, modern reinforcements. Horizontal stretcher appears to be a later replacement.
