- Lot Description
Marc Chagall (French/Russian, 1887-1985) etching on Montval paper from the Bible series, "Jacob's Departure From Egypt", c. 1930. From the 1956 edition of 275 signed and numbered on the portfolio justification page and published by Teriade, Paris. Ref.: Cramer 29. Floated under plexiglass in a silvered and ebonized wood frame with white mat. Sheet: 17 1/8 in H x 12 3/4 in W. Framed: 33 1/4 in H x 29 in W.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Sheet is affixed to mount. Not examined out of frame.
