- Lot Description
Middle Tennessee hand pieced and quilted cotton quilt, Four Patched Hourglass design. Constructed of cotton fabrics in colors of turkey red, navy, and white print, quilted with cotton threading in dark colors to match the quilt colors and following the pieced blocks, cotton batting, and an off white cotton back. 73 in. x 89 in. Circa 1910.
Condition
The binding is machine-applied and might not be original to the quilt. Minor spotting on top, no holes, backing stain, and a couple of water stains to the center.
