Norman Perceval Rockwell (New York/Massachusetts, 1894-1978) color lithograph on Arches paper, Big Day, 1959. A young boy shown from the neck up smiles and wears an oversized graduation hat or mortarboard. Printed by Circle Gallery, with blindstamp to lower left corner. Signed in pencil, lower right, and numbered 196/200, lower left. Unframed. Sheet: 29 1/2 in. H x 21 1/4 in. W. Note: "Originally created for a 1959 Fidelity Bank advertisement...[t]he print suggests that a family should start preparing for this child's graduation day early with Fidelity Bank." Condition
Overall very good condition, with strong colors. Very faint toning to extreme lower center and lower right corner of sheet, approximately 12 inch x 1 inch triangular area.
