Pair of Sevres style porcelain ormolu mounted cache pots or jardinieres, each decorated with turquoise blue ground and hand-painted vignettes depicting courting scenes and bouquets. Bronze mounts including pierced foliate rims and bases, and cherub handles. Old French label to underside of one. Each 8 1/4" H x 11" W x 7" D with handles. Likely French, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Elizabeth L. Wall, Knoxville, Tennessee, granddaughter of James Allen Smith, who founded White Lily Flour in Knoxville c. 1883.
One with 5 1/2" L hairline to base and loose handle due to missing screw, fixed to rim with wire. Light surface grime.
