- Lot Description
Two American School, 20th Century, oil on canvas sporting art paintings, each depicting a dog standing in water and catching fish with their teeth, possibly the same dog but in different positions. Each signed "BLUM" lower right with other alphabetical and numerical markings. Stretchers stamped BRUDNO (Brudno Art Supply store, Chicago, circa mid 20th century). Walnut stained frames. Sight (each) - 15"H x 18"W. Frames - 17"H x 20"W.
Condition
Small area of exfoliation near center of painting of dog with head down. Minor abrasion to painting of dog with head raised, lower right quadrant around front leg, plus faint stretcher marks at left and right. Otherwise both paintings are in very good condition. Some minor wear/scratching to frames.
