- Lot Description
Pair (2) of tall covered Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain urns or vases. Each with polychrome enamel vignettes of court and landscape scenes, with birds, butterflies, and flowers, gilt highlights throughout, foo dog mask handles, and figural foo dog or temple dog finials to the domed lids. 15 1/2" H. 19th century.
Condition
One urn foo dog finial with wear to gilt and losses to ears, one fleabite to the underside of the lid, and one slight area of loss to polychrome on the body. Remaining urn with fleabite to the underside of the lid.
