- Lot Description
After Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) lithograph on Arches wove paper depicting a couple engaged in sexual intercourse. A Picasso-signed proof impression from Le Gout Du Bonheur (A Taste of Happiness): A Suite Of Happy, Playful And Erotic Drawings, 1973, a portfolio of lithographs after drawings by Picasso and produced by Guenther Dietz under Picasso's supervision. Signed "Picasso" in pencil, upper right, and dated and numbered "9.10.64 / I" in the plate. With Arches watermark, lower center. Note: Lot includes a photocopy of a 1974 Paloma Picasso (the artist's daughter) letter concerning "the signed proofs of the recreations fo 'Le Gout Bonheur' produced by Gunther Dietz with my father's supervision," plus signed Christophe Stickel Autographs COA and 1989 catalog with print illustrated on p. 22. Unframed. 11 3/4" H x 9 3/4" W.
Condition
Very good condition. The full, untrimmed sheet with wide margins. Negligible staining en verso, likely inherent.
