- Lot Description
Pair of Continental, French or Italian, cast iron and tole-painted twin beds, each headboard and footboard with a cast figural crest flanked by ball finials above a tole-painted panel with floral and insect decoration and mother of pearl inlay. Headboards: 56 1/2" H x 35 1/2" W. Footboards: 35" H x 35 1/2" W. 77 1/4" total L. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
Condition
Both beds in overall good condition. Some overall oxidation and minor wear to the painted surfaces. One footboard with losses to paint decoration, the other with some pitting.
