- Lot Description
Rockwell Kent (American 1882-1971) wood engraving, "Sea and Sky," 1932. From the edition of 150. Signed "Rockwell Kent" in pencil, lower right. Ref.: Burne-Jones 85. Floated under glass in a gilt and ebonized wood frame with cream mat. Sheet: 14 1/2 in H x 11 in W. Frame: 22 1/4 in H x 19 in W.
Condition
Overall very good condition, with wide margins. Sheet with faint toning plus two areas in upper margin with less or no toning, 1 1/4 x 1/2 in each. Not examined outside of frame. Frame with minor abrasions and pigment loss primarily to ebonized edges.
