- Lot Description
Rufino Tamayo (Mexico, 1889-1991) color lithograph titled "Cabeza en Verde" and depicting a surrealist green-blue head against a pink background. Signed lower right "R. Tamayo" and numbered lower left 53/75, both in white pencil. Carmel-By-The-Sea gallery label en verso. Floated in a chrome metal frame. Sheet: 29 1/2" H x 21 13/6" W. Framed: 35 3/4" H x 27 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Thomas Turk, Nashville, Tennessee.
Condition
Overall very good condition, with strong colors. Sheet is hinged mounted to backing with archival tape. Old tape plus minor staining to verso.
