- Lot Description
Sam "The Dot Man" McMillan (North Carolina, 1926-2018) outsider art painted metal trash can. The lid features a landscape with cow and airplane; base features cityscape with hot air balloon and flags. Signed "Sam" to front, near receptacle flap opening, and to rear base, on church step. 31" H x 14" Diameter. Note: includes removable metal liner.
Condition
Overall good condition. Some minor wear/light grime to front receptacle opening. 1" scratch with some paint loss to front, atop one skyscraper, with nearby dark mark. Various other scattered minor abrasions throughout.
