- Lot Description
Schofield Sterling Silver 5-Piece Tea Set plus associated silverplated tray. Includes Coffeepot, teapot, sugar bowl, cream jug, and waste bowl, all with engraved scroll, cartouche, and foliate decoration to upper parts of round bodies, atop square bases, stamped for Schofield, Sterling, 2300. Also includes 1 oval Barbour silverplated tea tray with alternating flat and incurved edges and chased floral sprig decoration. All items monogrammed MTB. Coffeepot 10 3/4"H. Tray 24" x 16". Combined weight sterling items: 56.93 oz troy. American, Circa 1940.
Condition
Overall all items very good condition. Scattered scratches and a few dents up to 3/4" (on side of waste bowl). Age cracking to insulators. Tray has several scratches to center. Each piece Monogrammed on center or one side.
