- Lot Description
Swiss Jacot's Patent 10 tune coin operated music box. Carved rosewood case with lower drawer. Interior fitted with hinged glass cover above steel comb and damper. Featuring Change / Repeat dial, Jacot's Safety Check mechanism, drum bells, enameled flowers and insects on the bells, and snare drum. The underside of the case lid retains the original handwritten listing of songs. Serial #117072. 10 3/4 in. H x 27 in. W x 15 in. D. Late 19th century.
Condition
The case shows light minor wear. Music mechanism is functioning at the time of inspection. Larger drum with perforations to the cover.
