- Lot Description
Swiss Samuel Troll Fils orchestral cylinder 8-tune music box, rosewood case with central scroll inlay to the top and ebonized trim and interior. Features one drum, six bells, and one castanet. Underside of lid with the original tune card reading "Fabrique de Geneve" with a list of the eight music selections and marked with the serial number #1822; serial number also stamped on crank. Interior fitted with glass cover. Governor marked "S. Troll Fils Geneve" for Samuel Troll & Fils. 10" H x 22 3/4" W x 11 1/4" D. Late 19th century.
Condition
Overall good condition. Teeth of steel comb intact. Functional at time of inspection. General wear and scratching to case.
