- Lot Description
US Patent Model "Grain and Fruit Drier", by C.A. Haskins and G. Macardle, (Patent No. 22,144, November 23, 1858). Original model with hanging tag; brass, copper, wood construction, and original finish. Accompanied by a copy of the original patent office drawings and description. 9 in. H x 11 1/2 in. W x 11 1/2 in. D.
Condition
3" section of wood missing from circular "track", missing hand crank apparatus (from diagram). Note: due to the innovative/experimental nature of patent models, it can be difficult to ascertain if all original parts are present or working as originally intended, and we do not guarantee their completeness or functionality.
