- Lot Description
William Frederick Callaway (United Kingdom, active 1841-1896) oil on canvas painting depicting a nude woman in a Roman bath interior, her legs partially submerged in water. Signed and dated lower left "W. F. Callaway" (date is partially covered). Housed in a gilt carved foliate frame. Sight: 17" H x 11 1/4" W. Framed: 22 3/4" H x 17" W.
Condition
Minor rubbing and losses to lower left corner of canvas, otherwise overall good condition.
