- Lot Description
Wood bench with a dark stained frame and handwoven natural rush seat. The rectangular seat is supported by four substantial fluted posts joined by straight stretchers, with the rear posts extending to form the backrest and terminating in spherical finials. Three gently undulating horizontal rails form the open back, each centered by a shaped double-arched motif. The contrasting dark wood and pale rush emphasize the bench's simple, rustic construction. Height: 33.5 in. Width: 42 in. Depth: 17.5 in. Seat Depth: 15 in. Seat Height: 14 in.
Condition
