Private visit of 101 Spring Street
SoHo home and studio of artist Donald Judd
A private visit for up to 8 people of the repurposed textile factory purchased by renowned American artist Donald Judd (1928-1994) in 1968 as a home and studio. 101 Spring Street, a 19th century historic landmark in its own right, underwent a 3-year historic restoration of its cast-iron façade and iconic interiors to allow public tours beginning in June 2013. An artist guide will walk you through five floors repurposed by Judd into living and working spaces, and discuss Judd's use of the space, his concept of permanent installation, and his collection of works of art and furniture.
Visit Tuesday - Saturday 11am-6pm, no expiration date. $500 value.
