Includes: 6 deep dish plates, 12 soup bowls, 6 Bowls, 24 goblets, 24 cups, 24 saucers, 8 fondue dishes, 9 bread plates, 13 salts, 4 spice jars, 1 creamer, 2 lidded sugar bowls (one with handle), 2 double handled lidded jars. Pieces range in size from 2 x 3.5 inches to 8 x 5.5 x 4.5 inches. Picault initials, 'RP', are frequently used as his signature on Vallauris ceramics. Picault was a key figure in the Vallauris pottery movement, known for his innovative designs and collaborations with other artists, including Picasso. Provenance: The Estate of Edith (Toto) Fisher, Pittsburgh, PA. Toto Fisher was an active supporter of the arts in Pittsburgh, and served on the boards of many of the city's most important institutions, including The Carnegie Museum of Art.
