Wilson, S. Clay (American, 1941-2021), Pair of original drawings: Gunfighter Anod in the Sun, 1977, original illustration with ink and watercolor, titled, dated and inscribed to Trigger (aka Diane Cecily) in the upper right, sheet size 7 x 7 inches, unframed. AND The 3 Graces Respond, 2010, original illustration with ink and pink marker, titled, signed, dated and inscribed to Trout (aka the writer Chuck Kinder) along the edges, sheet size 7 x 7.25 inches, unframed. Provenance: The estate of Chuck Kinder and Diane Cecily, Pittsburgh, PA. Steve Clay Wilson was an important artist in the underground comix scene and one of the founding members of the Zap collective. Wilson's friendship with Chuck and Diane started in California in the early 1970s, and his favorite nicknames for the couple were Trout and Trigger. ALSO WITH an offset print signed and inscribed to Chuck and Diane as Trout and Trigger.In good condition; Gunfighter with light browning. The print in poor condition with tears, losses and stains.
