The lot includes the rare and important original steel-plated copper plate used to reproduce Ripley's Federal Duck Stamp design.
Frank A. Currier Jr. was a sporting friend of Ripley’s. In 1942 Currier had the artist sign his Migratory Bird Hunting Stamp for his hunting license, which is also included in this lot.
