Adele Earnest's crown-head yellowlegs were prized by Earnest and other early collectors, with examples landing in the William J. Mackey, Jr. collection and important collections in Connecticut and New Jersey. This early shorebird decoy has a metal bill and metal stick-up rod. The underside of the bird has an "Adele Earnest Collection" stamp.
