Flushing Pheasant, 1943
signed "Everett S. Ward" lower left
oil on canvas, 30 by 40 1/4 in.
This painting is closely associated with the "Field and Stream" cover piece from November, 1943, also painted by Everett Ward. Both works depict the same hunter, dog, and pheasant, at different points in the hunt.
