Casada continues, “Identifying all of Hunt’s magazine covers would be a research undertaking of considerable magnitude. Among the popular periodicals which used his work regularly were the Saturday Evening Post, Collier’s, Outer’s Recreation, and Outing. But it was his relationship with Field & Stream, spanning parts of five decades, that would become one of the most meaningful and enduring associations in the annals of outdoor literature."
This work, depicting musky fishing, was likely created for a magazine cover.
