Miniature Black Duck
George H. Boyd (1873-1941)
Seabrook, NH, c. 1920
3 3/4 in. long
This turned-head miniature hails from the Philip S. Drake Collection that was sold in 1977. The collection consisted of over 150 of the finest George Boyd carvings.
Original paint with light wear and minimal touch-up to neck seam.
