Harry V. Shourds (1861-1920)
Tuckerton, NJ, c. 1880
14 1/2 in. long
A classic New Jersey decoy. This early and hollow example exhibits the thin neck, high crown, and fat cheeks that Shourds collectors look for.
Original paint with light gunning wear and minor touch-up to a spot on back right of neck.
