36-Star American Flag
Cotton, 17.5 x 11 in., printed parade flag with 34 stars configured in 5/6/6/6/6/5 horizontal rows with two additional stars in the left corners of the canton. The hoist has three small button holes. The flag became official after the admission of Nevada into the Union. It lasted for two short years. Housed in original frame. Ca 1865-1867.
Fraying of the outer fly and hoist, toning and some soiling.
