An octagonal satinwood sewing box with lightwood line inlays, having a hinged lid and one long drawer, the interior lined with robin's egg blue paper and with brass floral pulls and ring handles, both typical of the work of Seymour, and attributed to his hand by Robert Mussey and Associates (Hays, personal communication); ht. 6, wd. 13.5, dp. 9.5 in.
