12 gauge, 28" barrels, S/N 35851 . With matching numbers throughout. The barrels have bead sights. The underside is marked Special Laufstahl Weichlot , with German proof marks. The bolsters feature relief engraved floral scrolls. The left side lock features relief engraved quails in a woodland setting, with the right side having pheasants. The left side is marked Gebruder Merkel Suhl . The right side is marked Waffen-Bock Frankfurt / M . The underside of the action features relief engraved Germanic floral patterns, with a quail in flight in a circle. The trigger guard also features relief engraved vine patterns with a bird in flight. The walnut forearm is checkered. The pistol grip buttstock features relief carved vine patterns behind the frame, with checkereing and a raised cheekpiece. The ivory gripcap features relief engraved floral patterns and a rosette. The underside of the butt also has an ivory inlaid diamond. The ivory buttplate has relief engraved Germanic floral patterns.
Included with the shotgun is a receipt dated 7/6/93, written by Mrs. Ernie Lind to one of the previous owners. Also included are a few photos of the shotgun, taken by the Linds.

The barrels are in excellent condition, with almost all of the blue finish remaining, and crisp engravings. Some blue finish remains on the trigger guard, with some fading. The stock and forearm are in very good to excellent condition. Very good to excellent condition overall.
