English and Anglo-Indian. A rectangular box in burl walnut veneer, having a hinged lid and paper-lined interior, two brass lion's head ring handles, raised on four brass bun feet, and a rectangular ribbed tea caddy with rounded edges, the top incised with an interlocking ring motif, opening to a three-compartment metal interior, raised on bun feet; box ht. 5.75, wd. 11.5, dp. 7.25 in., tea caddy ht. 6, wd. 12.25, dp. 5.75 in.

Losses to veneer, especially along top front border of box and interior of caddy lid. The lid of the caddy does not quite close all the way. Rusted metal to interior of caddy. Some dents and imperfections to surfaces.
