These are purported to be the youngest children of the first marriage of Henry Wilson, Esq. (1797-1866), of Stowlangtoft Hall in Suffolk. Henry took charge of the property ca 1825, one year after marrying his first wife, Mary Fuller Maitland (1802-1834). Their seven children took on the surname Maitland Wilson, including the three pictured here: Fanny, Joseph and Janet.
