.41 caliber 4" 4-barrel cluster, with two chambered pan with tap to fire upper and then lower barrels. Barrels and frame numbered 0-3, all correctly matching. Right side of frame marked "ASTON" with panoply of arms and left side marked "MANCHESTER" with similar martial designs. Box lock with sliding pan-locking safety and reinforced cock. Engraved steel trigger guard, German silver escutcheon at wrist. Flat, bag-shaped walnut grip.
Good. Metal with a dull steel patina and light pinpricking over most of the surfaces. Tap functions correctly, but action is worn and hammer will not always hold at full cock. Good bores. Rear of trigger guard no longer attached to the frame, allowing it to swivel. Grip with bumps, dings and mars, chips missing at frame junction on left side.
