.28 caliber, 3.5" octagonal barrel, S/N 61. An essential piece for any oddity collector. Guycot chain pistols have been sought after for the past half-century. Certainly one of the most identifiable and interesting oddities.
A good example of in relatively good condition with little or no pitting and only staining on the barrel and frame. These are normally found in bright polish. Little or no surface pitting. Flared grip retains considerable original varnish and is only missing at top of right grip and minor patch on left grip. Action is sticky, but functional. Bore is fair. A similar pistol was sold recently at auction for $30,000.
