German, late 19th-early 20th century, possibly retailed to Krause in the Czech city of Zatec (Saaz). A regulator tall case clock in mixed hardwoods and mahogany veneers, having an arched and broken pediment with carved urn and cornucopia, molded frieze with central carved lady and acanthus leaf design, open glass pendulum door with notch carved perimeter, flanked by turned and reeded columns with carved capitals, all rising on a molded and conforming base; ht. 95, wd. 26, dp. 13.25 in.
