.69 caliber, 44" barrel. The breech of the barrel is marked with a B 1814, with the area above the pan marked with several proofs. The tang is marked M 1777. The lockplate is marked with a diamond proof, and Manuf, Imp. de St. Etienne. The walnut stock features a cut out cheek piece, along with three barrel bands, a trumpet head ramrod, sling swivels and a finger groove trigger guard.
The barrel has a grey and plum mottled patina, with light peppering around the breech. All furniture has a dark and aged patina, with clear markings throughout. The stock has several nicks and dings, with the letters PAM carved into the left of the butt. The bore could use a light cleaning and the action is good.
