English, mid-20th century. Two Royal Worcester painted porcelain figures by Dorothy Doughty (1892-1962), each a red-eyed vireo amongst flowers, with species, artist signature, and factory marks on underside of porcelain base. Original wooden boxes included; larger ht. 7.5, wd. 5.5, dp. 4.5 in.
