English, mid-20th century. Two Royal Worcester painted porcelain figures by Dorothy Doughty (1892-1962), a male and female yellow throat perched on water hyacinth, with species, artist signature, and factory marks on underside of porcelain base, and each with fitted wooden base. Original wooden boxes included; larger ht. 12.5, wd. 9, dp. 7 in. (with base).
