American, 19th century. A standard grade Wooten desk in the Eastlake style in walnut with decorative brass mounts, having a spindled gallery and carved decoration throughout, the barreled doors featuring a mail slot and label plaque, and opening to an elaborately fitted interior, all raised on carved feet with casters; ht. 70, wd. 44, dp. 31 in.

Scratches to the upper section of both doors, including interior edge of right door. Chip to back of gallery rail. Staining to writing surface. Scattered light scratches and chips to interior compartments. Expected wear to feet.
