Model 1795 Type Three Flintlock Musket
.69 caliber, 45" barrel length. Markings on lockplate in front of hammer "US" over eagle motif over Springfield. The rear of the lockplate is marked 1808. Left side of the barrel near breech is marked "P" over eagle head over "V." The top of the buttplate is marked 1808. Walnut stock with three barrel bands; the end barrel band has a double band. The buttplate, triggerguard, trigger, lockplate, sidelock, hammer, frizzen and barrel are all brown. Has button-head steel ramrod.

This musket is in overall very good untouched condition. The walnut stock is in very good condition with scratches, nicks and dings. There is a small chip in front of lockplate. The barrel has some moderate pitting at the breech that blends right into an untouched brown patina throughout the length of the barrel. The barrel bands and buttplate are an untouched brown patina. The lockplate, sidelock, hammer, triggerguard, trigger and frizzen have a nice brown patina. The markings are good on the barrel, lockplate and buttplate. The bore is pitted but could clean to better. Overall condition is very good.
